Head of Regional PMO
Carolina leads the Project Management Office (PMO) at Equilibrium SDC. This is a transversal role that seeks to centralize and supervise the management of projects in the organization to ensure that they are carried out with high quality and efficiency. To this end, the PMO is divided into four work areas: (1) the creation of management tools and best practices, (2) the analysis of management processes, communication and teamwork, (3) the generation and transfer of knowledge, and (4) direct support to projects.
Carolina is a professional with more than 6 years of experience in the social and economic development sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has worked mainly in the management of research projects in the international NGO ‘Innovations for Poverty Action’ (IPA), in the field of impact evaluation. She has led several projects in the region on issues related to education, gender and financial inclusion, among others, working together with public entities, researchers and donors such as the IDB, World Bank and USAID.
He studied his undergraduate degree in Public Policy and International Development at Leiden University College (The Netherlands) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree (part-time) in Economic Development at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
